Donating to She Yün is good for your taxes

Since 2016, She Yün in Belgium has been recognised as an organisation authorised to issue certificates for charitable donations entitling donors to a tax deduction.

In short, if you make a donation of €40 or more, and pay your taxes in Belgium or in a member state of the European Economic Area, you are eligible for a reduction in your taxable income. To qualify, your donation must be (as required by law)

  • made in cash or by bank transfer to the non-profit organisation’s account (see details below)
  • made on a definitive and irrevocable basis
  • a personal contribution: it must not be the result of a collection or a collective initiative
  • made without any consideration in return.
